Oxoid Food Microbiology Seminar – Book Your Free Place

Free places are now available at the Oxoid Food Microbiology Seminar, 22 September 2008The seventh annual Oxoid Food Microbiology Seminar will be held on Monday 22 September 2008 at the Campden and Chorleywood Research Association, Chipping Campden, UK, and there is still time to book a place at this free event.

The free Food Microbiology Seminar has previously been described as “covering interesting and wide ranging topics,” and “maintaining interest through-out.”

These high standards will be maintained at this year’s meeting, which includes presentations on topics such as: validation of laboratory methods to ISO 16140; validation of the DuPont Qualicon BAX® Listeria method; HACCP, the cost of failure; an update on developments in microbiological criteria, Regulation 2073/2005; Traditional and emerging technologies for food preservation; and the Commission of the European Community's supporting guidance on conduct of shelf-life studies to evaluate compliance with Listeria monocytogenes criteria for ready-to-eat foods able to support growth.
