£5,000 OXOID INFECTION CONTROL TEAM AWARDS – CLOSING DATE APPROACHES

If you haven’t sent in your entry for the 2004 Oxoid Infection Control Team of the Year Awards there is still time to do it, but remember the closing date is 28th February 2005 . With a £5,000 first prize and 2^nd and 3^rd prizes of £1,000 and £500 respectively, this could be your team’s opportunity to be publicly recognised for the important work that you do in your hospital. Representatives from the Award winning teams will also be invited to receive their prizes at a celebratory dinner to be held in Summer 2005.

Entry is simple - there are no forms to complete. To enter just provide a summary (maximum 2000 words) explaining the infection control challenges that you face and how team members respond to these challenges; describe the results of your work and how this has made a difference to your patients and hospital. Remember that the closing date for entries into the Awards is the 28^th of February 2005 so ensure that you get your entries in soon.
