LAST CHANCE TO ENTER OXOID AWARDS FOR BEER QUALITY AND BREWING HYGIENE 2003/2004

As the closing date for the ‘Oxoid Awards for Beer Quality and Brewing Hygiene 2003/2004’ fast approaches (28th February 2004), there is still just enough time to enter this prestigious competition held in conjunction with the Institute and Guild of Brewing (IGB).

This year’s first prize-winner will receive a commemorative trophy and £1000 sterling (approximately 1400 Euros) at a special celebration dinner to be held at the Ardencote Manor Hotel, Warwickshire, in June 2004. Runners up will receive framed certificates of merit.

The Oxoid Awards for Beer Quality and Brewing Hygiene were established in 2002/2003 to recognise and reward the outstanding achievement of those who make significant improvements to the standards of beer quality and brewing hygiene, either within their own companies or contributing to the industry as a whole.

Last year’s winners included representatives from Scottish Courage (1st place), Adnams (2nd) and Salopian Brewery (3rd).
