COPYRIGHT ISSUES

There are strict rules regarding copyright ownership which affect the extent to which we can help customers by supplying reprints. For every request from a Subsidiary, Distributor or end-user, for a single reference, we would need to obtain a copyright-cleared copy of the reference. We have to pay a fee for this service. This copy can be supplied to the person requesting it for private study and research only. The recipient must not subsequently make copies or pass the paper to other researchers.

Following the guidelines detailed above, we are willing to obtain papers of key importance which a customer has genuine difficulty obtaining. It should be noted that many Journal articles, especially the abstracts, are available on the internet.

UK and overseas customers can obtain copies of the large majority of references for a fee, from the British Library:
